The Hope & Love Anthology is a compelling compilation of LGBTQ stories focused on Love, Hope and faith. Each story ends in a happy ending full of joy and peace.
An idea came of ways we could carry the message and help raise donations to help benefit the wonderful community. After speaking with the publisher, it is now becoming a reality.
SJ Davis, owner of Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly Publishing, was all for it. It was decided that an anthology where the stories would be appropriate for all ages, and where all the letters of the LGBTQ rainbow are welcome and shown, would happen. The publisher is providing artwork and publication at no costs. You can find Crushing Hearts & Black Butterfly Publishing at the following links:
As it all came together, a submission call went out in search for authors interested in supporting this project, as well as the LGBTQ Community. Out of the responses, fifteen authors were chosen and
accepted. Here are some of the authors and their first thoughts:
Aine Massie- “I love the center and the people there, what can I do to help?”
Piper Kay- "Hell yeah, I'm absolutely in… 100%. This is the reason I started writing this genre. Let’s rock this.”
Marcus Maichle: I had a story in my heart that needed a place to go. The Center has been my own place, and now it's my story's home as well.
Elaine White: I wanted to write a story where, with hope and trust, love blossomed, even in the
most unlikely place.
Vickie Kinnard- “The LGBT community has been so supportive of my books, it's about time I give something back!”
Tempest O’Riley- “Being the Center is modified but featured in my most recent story, I'd love to
Jocelyn Sanchez - "Great idea! I hope my story can help others"
Kameron Mitchell- "Hell yeah. Sounds fun."
B. David Spicer- "They need help. I have an idea and a keyboard, let's write a story for them."
M. Leanne Phoenix - "I couldn't not participate in something that every young adult needs to know
exists: HOPE and LOVE"
There will be an online release day event on September 26th from 5 PM until 9 PM, sponsored and hosted by the authors who have stories in the anthology.
